Just when you thought our Spring Special had come to an end, we’ve decided we’re not quite ready to say goodbye to spring yet.
We’ve extended the Spring Special for the Main House - but this really is your last chance!
There are only a handful of weekends left to grab for R2500pn (instead of R3000pn!), so if you’ve been talking about that coastal escape, sending the “we should really go” messages, or waiting for the perfect excuse to pack your bags and head to Umzumbe… consider this your sign.

Life is better by the ocean
There’s something about Umzumbe that makes it very easy to forget what day it is. The water is clean, the fishing is good, the waves are waiting, and there’s always a reason to get outside. Whether you’re paddling out for a surf, casting a line, walking along the beach or simply finding a sunny spot to do Yoga or absolutely nothing, this little corner of the coast has a way of making you slow down.

Ocean Concert 2.0
We recently had our Ocean Concert 2.0, and what a day it was! This time, we had the fabulous Veranda Panda joining us, bringing all the good vibes and the kind of music that makes it very difficult to stay sitting down. We started in the daylight, soaking up the sunshine with the ocean in the background, and somehow ended up dancing around the bonfire under the stars.
Exactly the kind of day that reminds you why we love doing what we do.
Good music, good people, the ocean right there, and a bonfire to finish it all off.
Honestly… we’re already thinking about the next one.
Black & White Wave Workshop
Our first Black & White Painting Workshop with local artist Radmer Lenaschwas another beautiful success!
From blank canvases to unique creations, it was so much fun seeing everyone get creative, experiment and put their own spin on things. There’s something special about slowing down, getting a little messy and creating something with your own hands.

A little creativity at Surfhouse
On 2 October, we’re getting creative with a painting pottery workshop.
It’s the perfect excuse to put the phone down, get your hands dirty and make something of your own - preferably while surrounded by good people and that relaxed Surfhouse atmosphere we all know and love.
You don’t need to be an artist. You just need to come ready to have some fun.
So, when are you coming?
Spring at Umzumbe is looking pretty good - and there are only a few weekends left to enjoy it with us at the special rate.
If you’ve been waiting for a sign to escape to the coast, this is it.
Pack the board. Bring the fishing gear. Invite your favourite people. Or come on your own and make some new ones.
