🌞 Summer Is Here! 🌊

Hello Surfhouse Family!

Summer has officially arrived, and we’re feeling the stoke! Long, hot beach days have kicked off the season beautifully, with warm ocean water inviting everyone in for a paddle. Those classic afternoon thunder showers have been rolling through too just enough to cool things off and add that tropical magic to our coastline. With fun swell lining up, the waves have been offering something for everyone, from total beginners to seasoned surfers chasing that perfect ride.

We’ve also had the pleasure of welcoming some incredible international guests who have come to enjoy our warm waters, experience the Umzumbe spirit, learn how to surf and do yoga with us. It’s been amazing sharing waves, laughter, and stoke with visitors from around the world!

🏄 Surf Lessons & Good Vibes

Whether you're brand-new to surfing or looking to polish your skills, we’ll be running surf lessons throughout the season. Our coaches are ready to get you standing, smiling, and riding your first (or your best!) wave yet.There’s nothing quite like watching someone catch their first wave and this year, we’ve seen plenty of stoked faces, shared laughs, and unforgettable moments in the lineup.

🔥 Summer Braais & Community

Nothing brings the camp together quite like a braai after a full day in the water. Expect good food, great company, and those unforgettable summer nights under the stars. Our guests have really enjoyed those full moon bonfires right at the ocean. 

🎨 Vision Board & Paint Workshops

It hasn’t only been about waves we’ve had some beautiful creative moments, too! Our Vision Board Workshop brought everyone together in such a meaningful way. Guests set intentions, got inspired, and crafted boards filled with dreams, goals, and summer energy.

We also hosted our last Paint Workshop of 2025, where the camp turned into a colourful outdoor studio. It was  filled with creativity, laughter, and ocean-inspired art.

We are already counting down to our Christmas holidays at the Umzumbe Surfcamp! There will be warm water, festive fun, and plenty of waves to go around. And after a day on the beach come join us on the mat for some Yoga!
