There’s something special in the air (and the water!) this time of year — and it’s not just the sound of waves rolling in. That’s right… the Sardines are here!

The annual Sardine Run has officially arrived along the KwaZulu-Natal South Coast, and it’s brought the ocean to life in the most magical way. Huge shoals of sardines are swimming right past our beach, chased by dolphins, game fish and diving seabirds. Whether you’re out diving, paddling, surfing, or just watching the action from the sand, the energy out there is electric.

Our yoga sessions have also been in full swing with the sound of the ocean in the background and the sun warming your skin, it’s the ultimate setting to stretch, breathe, and reconnect with your body and mind. Beginners and experienced yogis alike are welcome — all you need is good energy (we’ve got mats and the view covered).

We’ve been surfing loads — the waves have been clean, fun, and super welcoming for all levels. Our surf lessons have been packed with guests catching their first rides and building confidence with each session. If you’ve ever wanted to learn how to surf or just need a reset in the sea, there’s truly no better time than now.
